Exceptional service from start to finish! I recently hired RSP to replace my roof, and I couldn't be happier with the results. So this review is a little late but hopefully in time for the upcoming roofing season. We called Roofing Solutions Plus in August of last year and within days had an initial estimate given to us. We have a strange shaped roof so Ray and Phillip came out to the house and sent the drone up to get a better idea of how they would handle replacing the roof and sealing the gutters. They supplied pictures and their price was on point with the other estimates that we received. Once all the decisions were made their crew showed up early the one morning and had the entire thing done by the end of the day. It was a very easy and non stressful operation. If you're looking for a new roof you would be well served to give Ray a call and have him get you an estimate.

We liked the reviews and picked this company to replace a roof on a rental property. They were able to get us on the schedule right away, which was great but should've been a red flag. After the work was done, my husband inspected the roof and found more issues than he could count, with part of the roof needing to be re-done. He spoke to the owner, Ray, who acknowledged the issues and agreed to fix what they could and take the bad part off the bill instead of redoing it. After they were done, my husband found that many of the issues remained, but at this point, he didn't want these people back on the roof. We were content enough, and it could've been the end of it. What actually prompted this review is that in order to get a refund for the part of the roof, they made him sign an agreement where they threaten legal action if he leaves a bad review. Good thing I signed no such thing. You don't get to do a bad job, and then blackmail your customers to get away with it. There was a right way to handle this, and that was not it.

Ray and his team installed gutters for me in 2020, and a new roof at a rental property of mine in May of this year (2022). Both the roof and gutters were installed quickly, and I received a quote to use Gutter and Roofing Solutions Plus again at another property. However, after the roofing install, Ray's team left a pallet of NEW and still usable materials (that I was charged for and unable to use as I'm not a roofer) behind at my property, probably totaling a few hundred dollars. When I texted Ray about this on 5/15 his response on 5/16 was "Umm they should not have been left. I will be over to grab them". When I went back to the property on 5/28, I saw that the pallet and materials were still there, so I again texted Ray. On 6/1 his response was "That was supposed to be picked up. I have been out of town. I will have it handled asap." As of 6/16 I left Ray a voicemail asking for him to please collect the materials. At this point, the BRAND NEW & UNOPENED bag of roofing nails is deteriorating, and it's in an area where children can access it, so it's not safe. Today, 6/24/22, the materials are still there and Ray no longer responds. I just want Ray and Roofing Solutions Plus to take responsibility and collect their materials. I'm extremely disappointed in this level of customer service, inability to properly clean up a site after an install, and refusal to correct mistakes. At this point too, it would be nice to receive a refund for the amount of the wasted materials.

Ray and his team at Gutter Solutions were great and very easy to work with. Our project involved box gutters, soffit/fascia, aluminum capping on the wood framing of several windows and a shingle roof tear off and replacement on half of a large duplex in Sharpsburg. We had originally spoken to another contractor about the box gutters and they had recommended “terminating” them (i.e. removing the box gutters entirely, reframing the roof and replacing them with standard seamless gutters). This option was going to be very labor intensive and expensive and it would have significantly changed the look of the house that was built in 1895. We contacted Ray and he quickly came out and looked at the project and said that as long as the box gutters were still structural, there would be no reason why they could not rehab them by relining them. This turned out to be a much more cost effective option and was also much better for the aesthetics of the house. He was very honest and indicated that the roof was at the end of it’s life and that it would be beneficial to replace this as part of the project and prior to the relining of the box gutters. Ray explained the entire process (roof, then gutter relining and finally soffit/ fascia and capping) and that three separate crews would be required as they all specialize on their respective portions. He promptly gave us a price that was reasonable and was always accessible via phone, text and email to answer any questions. He kept us updated on the schedule and checked in frequently on the progress of the job. The crews worked quickly, but efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. The quality of the work was outstanding and the metalwork on the fascia actually enhanced the look of the house, which was a concern of ours covering the detail on the original wood fascia. Ray was also excellent at coordinating with the owner of the other half of our duplex as he had opted for completing only certain portions of the project for his property. In summary, Ray and Gutter Solutions did an excellent job on our project and we would strongly recommend them.
