KSW took our ideas and created a design that enhanced what we wanted and needed in our house so we can age in place. We now have two safe and very useable bathrooms with handicapped accessible showers, a laundry on the main floor of our house and a powder room, and two walk in closets. We asked for wider door frames and pocket doors to create more floor space. From our first visit with Shayne, I felt our ideas and expectations were valued and always respected. The design process was at times difficult but the design we have now is exactly what we wanted and needed. Joe was very patient and always used his expertise to guide us through change orders. He suggested additions to the design that enhanced the outcome.Shayne and Joe kept us informed of the construction process and when crews would arrive and when each phase of the construction would be completed. The work crews were respectful of our home. I am pleased to recommend KSW for any construction project.

We highly recommend KSW. We originally had a roof leak. They were one of four companies that gave us a quote. When Shane came out to get information on our needs, he went on the roof to identify the root cause of the issue and put up a small tarp to ensure we didn’t get any more water in. This was before they even had our business. Shane provided a detailed quote with all the costs laid out. He spent quality time covering everything about the products and services. There were no hidden fees. Shane also worked closely with us when picking out all the materials and colors. We received great pricing and not only did we get a new roof but they put in three dormers, new siding, soffits, gutters, gutter guard and recapped all the windows and doors. They replaced outdoor lights and wiring where needed. Oscar as the project manager was often there, answered any questions we had and was so accommodating as we added some services that were originally not in the contract. Anytime I asked Oscar for something he always responded , sure, no problem. Joe the assistant project manager came out at the start of the job, during the job and towards the end to monitor the progress. He also provided recommendations and came up with an idea to address a pipe vent that was originally vented in the soffit. He covered the different options on insulation and answered all questions I threw at him. The electricians had to move wiring and identified a safety issue with some of the wires. They replaced those wires. All the workers were friendly and provided excellent quality work. They all worked together and were responsive. As a result, we got to know all of them. They cared about our needs and made us feel like we were their priority. We will definitely be contracting additional work through KSW.

KSW completed a project for me by removing my existing stucco and replacing it with siding and I couldn't be more than happy with the results. I obtained 5 different estimates and KSW was thousands of $$$ cheaper than any other company and did a lot more than the other companies proposed. Jim Subach was my sales representative and was very professional and kept me up to date during the whole project. They even have a portal that you can see pictures of your project day by day. It only took them three days to finish and it looks great! What most impressed me is how my property looked after completion, it was spotless. You would have never known that there was major construction going on in the back of my property. I will only ever use them for any other home improvement!

I hired KSW to replace my old rotting deck . My project turned out beautifully but communication was subpar at best. When I chose KSW after receiving 3 other bids I did so because Justice, who is wonderful, was not only friendly and knowledgeable but very understanding of my unique work schedule and how much transparency and communication mattered considering I work 45 min away from home in a non flexible job, live alone, and have no family or friends near to be present if needed. This is of utmost importance to me. While he was great and as I said my project turned out wonderfully and the on site crew worked hard ( when they did show up) the communication left much to be desired. Joe was my project manager. He was hardly communicative especially at first. My railing was “back ordered” but he did not tell me that until day 2 of the project . Had this been communicated I likely would’ve opted to wait to start until everything was in so there were no gaps in completion. After day 2 ( a Friday) I was told the crew would return Saturday to complete the job ( with the exception of the still back ordered railing). No one showed up and calls to Joe and the field manager Oscar went unanswered and unreturned. By the following Monday I had to call the salesman , Justice, as my calls were still unreturned. He helped by meeting with Joe and management and expressed my frustration as well as my need for transparency.communication then somewhat improved with Joe though still left much to be desired. The following days the crew showed up intermittently which was fine since it was finally construed to me when they’d be coming or not but it was not without hiccups. One day they showed up without bringing materials to complete the job as Joe had told me he’d instructed them to do . Another day they left early leading Joe to believe they’d completed the job yet they hadn’t due to blowing a breaker which was not communicated to me until a day later when it was investigated why they had not finished. Had I not been informed then the following day would’ve been wasted as I was at work and had no clue to breaker was flipped. All in all my “2-3 day” job , which then I was told a week as it began , took 15 days start to completion and weather was not a factor but MAYBE 1 of the days. It seems there are a lot of people with various positions in the company (field manager, project manager, crew, salesman, management) which is understandable but it appears one hand is not talking to the other nor communicating with the customer per their specific needs. Maybe my situation was a one off judging by other reviews but nonetheless it was difficult and frustrating to get to the end point and I felt they could’ve been more transparent about many aspects from the jump. I have other large projects that I’m planning to do and was hoping I’d have to look no further but after this experience I’m hesitant . As I’ve said the project looks wonderful, Justice was incredible and helpful, and the crew ( when here) worked hard. However , due to my employment schedule restrictions the communication piece and follow through on timeline is incredibly important as I cannot just skip work , change days , or run home so despite the positive end result and bright spots with the company unfortunately I’m not sure I’d use them again unless things were ironed out CLEARLY prior to giving them the bid. That may change in time once I’m less “annoyed” at the way this played out but that remains to be seen. I do hope they can fix the kinks and communication issues in the company and between different departments or job titles because they do lovely work and seem like decent people. 5 stars to Justice especially. He’s a gem.

KSW recently finished our basement, and they definitely made my dreams come true! I am so impressed with their quality of work, and am very happy with the end result. Shayne, the sale’s rep, was fantastic to work with and very informational. Thank you KSW! I couldn’t love it more!
