Blue Square Builders

We had out roof done in 2021, one and a half years later, water was coming through the roof. When we called to tell them, at first they said they didn't think they did our roof, but we had the receipt. The supervisor refused to come out to look and told me to hire someone to come to my house to look and relay the information to him (cause it's too far for him to travel)! He also told me said that the person who oversaw the whole job no longer works for their company.. as if that matters! We ended up having to hire a contractor to fix the all the flashing the Blue Square Builders installed improperly. The flashing wasn't even under the shingles and came right off!

I recommend Blue Square Builders to anyone looking to have their roof repaired or replaced. I had storm roof damage and when I notified Blue Square, they were prompt, professional and extremely reasonable, price wise. My roof was finished on time and the final product was excellent. When I had my solar panels reinstalled, the installers damaged some parts of the roof and Blue Square immediately offered to fix it (free of charge), with no hesitation. Thank you Blue Square!

Can't speak to the quality of their work, though I wish I could. 4/13 - Monday. Tenant notifies me that shingles blew off the roof and flashing pulled loose the night before. Tenants send me photos of missing shingles, loose flashing, and daylight/hole in roof from attic. Same day, I talk to a contractor buddy who recommends Blue Square Builders, and Blue Square tells me they will stop by to assess the damage. 4/14 - Tuesday. Blue Square Builders stops to check out the roof. Tenant lets him into the attic to check things out, but Blue Square can't find the hole that was evident in the photo. Tells me they are unprepared to go onto the roof and will return next day (4/15). I hang up and send him the photo of the sunlight shining through the hole in the roof, assuming that the felt paper might have blown over the hole and blocked his view. 4/15 - Wednesday. No word from Blue Square Builders 4/16 - Thursday. No word from Blue Square Builders 4/17 - Friday. No word from Blue Square Builders, so I send a text requesting an update at 6:20PM. Response received immediately that wife is in labor and they should be there Monday. I respond with, "congrats and good luck." 4/18 - Saturday. I drive to the property and find that missing cap shingles on roof are evident as soon as I park my truck, and loose flashing is visible when I walk around the corner of the house. I fix the roof myself and go home but don't tell Blue Square Builders to see if they stay true to their word by stopping on Monday. 4/19 - Sunday 4/20 - Monday. Next promised visit day. No word from Blue Square Builders. 4/12 - Tuesday. Still no word from Blue Square Builders. I imagine these guys can do good work, based solely on my contractor buddy's recommending them and the 5-star reviews on here. Despite my best efforts, I didn't get the chance to support these guys and see what they can do. This review is meant purely as constructive criticism. I want small businesses to thrive, and I support them however I can. Blue Square Builders, I hope that you'll welcome this feedback and use it for improvement.

Last year I used this company to have the roof replaced on my home. I am so pleased I contacted them. They did such an excellent job, I am still amazed. Dyllon was my project manager and he handled everything. He dealt with my insurance company in addition to going the extra mile and running out with his truck to get extra supplies which were needed the day of install. Thank you Blue Square for having such a dedicated employee on your staff. The team that installed our roof were also excellent workers. They did not even complain when extra work had to be completed and they stayed and made sure all was cleaned up before they left. Thanks again Dyllon and Blue Square!! I had a review on this site prev. but had issues with my g-mail account. All issues have been straightened out and I wanted to be sure to leave another review. If anyone leaves a negative posting about this company, they need to rethink what they are saying, because this is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I continue to recommend them to anyone that I know who has roofing needs.

Blue square did a great job fixing my roof. I had hail damage to my roof due to a recent storm. I called them and they returned my call within minutes. They took care of everything, right from talking to the insurance company, showing the adjuster what was wrong etc. to getting the building permits and the whole nine yards. Dylon continuously kept me posted about the whole schedule. Great experience! I highly recommend them for your next roof job!
