Once you sign the contract and pay your deposit, they end all contact with you. They were incredibly responsive while I was shopping around for the job but things have changed. I've called, emailed, texted, left voicemails, and even went to the office to try to get hear from someone (no one was there). Looking through the reviews, it appears they actually answer these so hopefully this will get me a response. This has been incredibly annoying, not to mention they have my money for a job with no beginning in sight. If you have had a negative experience with this company, please like this review and every other relevant review. Need to warn people what they’re getting in to. This company is quite literally stealing mine and other's money. 9/30 - Looks like I got the canned response that everyone else got. 10/8 - Still no contact from the company 10/20 - Still no contact from the company 10/30 - Still no contact from the company 11/10 - Still no contact from the company 11/20 - Still no contact from the company 12/3 - Still no contact from the company I will update this review with developments

It has been since the hail storm of last year that we contracted with Summit. They came and did our roof soon after. Now, after months and months of being ghosted by the company ( no direct contact since February ) and hounding our contact Nick, who responds sporadically, we still have NO Siding! Once we told them we couldn’t afford to pay the extra cost to have our whole house done, not just the areas insurance covered, they dropped us like a hot rock. But yes, they have most of the insurance money. We are senior citizens and as much as we would have liked to have it all redone, the insurance company didn’t agree to do so. Being on a limited income we did not have that choice. We are so disappointed with the company for not answering numerous phone calls and other types of contact. We are especially disappointed with Nick who seemed to be the sweetest and most helpful person before we turned down the whole house project. All we hear from him is that “ yes, you are on the list”. We have been more than fair giving them all the benefit of the doubt in these challenging times, but any company that won’t be honest enough with their clients to let them know what the situation is isn’t reputable in our opinion! I don’t know where we go from here, but winter is coming upon us once again and here we sit with holes in our siding and shutters, drainpipes that don’t work, and a bare spot where siding was taken off to “ match” our existing siding.

Summit exteriors did the roof. They did it in winter, and they did a decent job. I paid in full, and they left my house a mess. They told me they would complete the cleanup once everything has thawed. There were 1000s of nails left all over, screens were ripped. Ice shield fell off the roof and damaged part of my pool electrical equipment and damaged the fence. I have been asking since March to have everything cleaned up and fixed. They did clean up the nails (finished in May, despite me asking to please attend to this starting in March). They took the broken screens several weeks ago, and despite attempts to contact them to replace the screen because I want to open the windows, there has been no acknowledgment or response. Same with the fence- they said they would be back to fix it, and again no response. They did do a good job on the roof, the cleanup has been a huge problem. The communication has been suboptimal. I really hope they can improve this, because they have a good crew. Edit 6/6: I called summit exterior after they responded to My review. They let me know the project manager no longer works for them. He took my screens. They said they were going to track them down and Thomas would be contacting me. I will keep this thread updated about response times and hopeful resolution of the project Edit 6/9- The new project manager came today. He replaced most of the screens (weather was bad so wasn’t safe to finish today). Will be back tomorrow to finish up. This PM was extremely responsive and is finishing up the project- very appreciated. Edit 7/2- they hired a new PM, and he has been excellent and responsive. He replaced the ripped screens, he completed the clean up of debris, he inspected the roof. He still needs to fix the fence and will be coming back to do that. 9/19 update- there has been several communication issues, that were challenging. They don’t answer emails and the main summit phone number. In the contract it also says it’s a 50yr materials and 25 year craftsmanship warranty. I called the material company- and the 50 yr warranty is actually false- it’s 40yrs, and it’s not transferable. I will say- two individuals were outstanding- Keenan and Jonathon. They finished the project and did an amazing job. They are skilled craftsman, excellent communicators. They always responded to my phone calls and texts. I hope the company puts them in charge of customer communication, that would solve some of the issues. I would give those two individuals 5 stars. The front office and sales team were very disappointing and leave a lot to be desired for. The front office doesn’t answer phone calls or emails. Same with members of the sales team- once you signed and paid, they won’t respond.

Andrew and his team were outstanding. From getting the estimate, through the process with the insurance company, then the actual removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof. His install team was very knowledgeable and workmanship was second to none. They were very conscious of insuring cleanup was done daily and kept me informed throughout the process. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Summit Exteriors.
